As a Raleigh based wedding photographer, The Triangle brings such beauty in each season. But summer brings a certain green glow that has my heart! And boy did the green glow for us during this stunning afternoon! I had the honor of spending the afternoon with Chloe and Matt just as the early summer greenery took off. Their bubbly personalities combined with the rich foliage in the vibrant summer sun was one of the best ways to kick off the summer season this year. Chloe and Matt’s Historic Oak View Park engagement reflects what this area does best in the summer; a gentle green glow, timeless scenery, and space to be themselves.
After whisking Chloe away last year to a beautiful hike in the mountains, he popped the question overlooking the gorgeous scenery. Chloe was giddy as she explained to me how Matt picked the perfect classic and timeless ring without any help. Chloe said the whole trip was simply perfect for just them, and couldn’t wait to plan their perfect “romantical wedding” as Chloe described it. (Is romantical a word?! Absolutely in my book!) Matt, being a South Carolina native, was looking for a wedding a little closer to home. I cannot wait for their destination at Rip Raps at The Crossroads later this year. Enjoy some of my favorite portraits from their session below.
