Destini & Jeremy’s Timeless Wedding Grounded Around What Matters Most

Tucked away in the Charlotte countryside, and built in faith, sits a timeless venue for couples drawn to weddings that feel like them. The all-white elegant space carries a sense of romance that blends seamlessly with the calm picturesque scenery. The modern space tailored around allowing moments to unfold, combined with the timeless serene property, is a one-of-a-kind experience for the Charlotte area. Some wedding days are remembered for their details. Others for the people who filled them. But Destini and Jeremy’s spring wedding at The Barn at Blue Sky Farm was a beautiful blend of both. What stood out the most on their wedding day was their love for each other, and the love for their family and friends that support them.

I met Destini and Jeremy in early 2025 during an open house at The Barn at Blue Sky Farm. From our first conversations, I could tell they were very special people who had a deep love for each other, their dogs, and they simply could not stop giggling as they chatted with each other. I remember how Destini’s eyes sparkled as she spoke about her wedding gown, how excited she was to see the beautiful greenery come together, and how excited she was for her fairytale horse & carriage. Jeremy, a true romantic at heart, couldn’t wait to make everything Destini wanted come true. For me personally, their wedding and friendship over the past year reminded me why I wanted to serve couples, and support the wedding of their dreams. I am forever grateful they chose me to be their photographer for their beautiful wedding rooted in connection.

Destini & Jeremy’s Wedding Ceremony at The Barn at Blue Sky Farm

Upon arrival, I was greeted with vast greenery as far as the eyes could see. The soft spring sun seemed to greet the modern all-white barn as I drove in. Inside, pops of warm pink flowers blended with the towering chandeliers overhead. I remember thinking how comforting it felt. I met Destini and her besties up in the bridal suite during hair and makeup. Destini ensured each of her bridesmaids had help getting ready before slipping into her gown. I still remember the sweet laughter and tears Destini’s dad shed during their first look as the morning wrapped up.

Meanwhile, downstairs in the groomsuite, Jeremy and his groomsmen enjoyed the morning. I could tell they were such a fun crowd as each had their inside jokes throughout the day, but were there for support when Jeremy needed it. Their all black tuxes looked iconic next to the elegant greenery. As Jeremy’s dad put final touches on his tux, they shared one final supportive hug before a private prayer with Destini.

Next, we made our way to the beautiful ceremony space overlooking the water at The Plateau. The sweetest horse carried Destini to the ceremony. Guests were rolling with laughter as a very special Flower Boy carried the rings. Laced with romantic pinks, white, and vibrant greenery, Jeremy wept as he saw Destini for the very first time as she walked down the aisle. Married in faith, they shared vows under the warm sun. Following the ceremony, glowing portraits were taken before heading to the reception.

Destini & Jeremy’s Wedding Reception at The Barn at Blue Sky Farm

During cocktail hour, guests enjoyed decadent appetizers and cocktails as the warm sun began to set. After a grand entrance to the reception, and heartfelt speeches, dinner was served. Next, guests enjoyed themselves before a creative table game kicked started the reception. Afterwards, cake and desserts were served as guests were encouraged to enjoy comfortable flip-flops as the party got started. As the night wound down, Destini and Jeremy shared a final dance before ending the most magical night with friends and family sending them off. It was a wedding I will never forget and I beyond honored to have been a part of.
