A Fun Afternoon with Caroline & Andrew That Felt Like Themselves

The best engagement sessions rarely begin with a perfect pose. They begin with comfort. From the moment Caroline and Andrew stepped in front of the camera, what mattered was simply enjoying being together. Every inside joke led to another laugh, every laugh led to giggles, and every giggle led to clear love for each other in their eyes. That’s what I hope every engagement session feels like. Not stiff or overly posed. Just two people slowing down for a moment together, creating memories that feel as genuine as the relationship they’re celebrating. Caroline and Andrew’s Pavilion at Carriage Farm engagement was so heartfelt, fun, and they had me rolling in laughter as they cut up and celebrated this amazing time in their lives together.

Caroline & Andrew’s Engagement Story | A Pavilion at Carriage Farm Engagement

Dating a little over a year, Andrew popped the question in the most perfect way to Caroline. An Oxford native and avid Christmas lover, Caroline got called out to their family property during the holidays to help her dad with some unexpected tractor issues on their farm. Unknown to Caroline, Andrew surprised her with a massive Marry Me sign surrounded by beautiful Christmas lights. As soon as Caroline said yes, family hiding away joined in the celebration. Caroline later told me that it was very important for her to have her family involved on her favorite holiday. Andrew, smitten as Caroline told the story, wanted it to be perfect for her where their life will continue to grow.

I met Caroline and Andrew in early 2026 during a Raleigh bridal show. Right away I could tell they were very special people. When I asked what was most important to them for their wedding, Andrew’s answer was so sincere. Which was for it to feel like themselves while having fun doing it.
