Timeless Elegance at a Countryside Estate | Wedding Inspiration in Oxford

It is no secret that timeless summer weddings in North Carolina are some of my personal favorites! Nestled in the heart of Oxford is a picturesque setting for couples seeking a blend of rustic charm and timeless elegance for their summer wedding. This enchanting countryside venue is a hidden gem for those dreaming of an intimate and memorable celebration surrounded by natural beauty. As an Oxford wedding photographer, I was honored to participate in an event at Highrock Farms.

As the afternoon began, I explored the estate’s massive property. In every direction I looked was endless greenery, idyllic grand trees that hummed with summer bees, rolling meadows, a serene pond, and sweet baby lambs on the edge of the grounds. Off in the distance stood a weathered tobacco barn full of vintage details and rustic charm. And in the middle, stood the most gorgeous historic home that took center stage. It was the perfect combination of seamless elegance and rustic countryside charm.

Inside the historic home was a grand staircase with a glowing chandler that was simply captivating. The bridal suite was nestled upstairs for a private area for the bride’s family to enjoy. The way the sunlight hit the upstairs was absolutely stunning for getting ready and bridal portraits.

At the edge of the property was the reception area overlooking the pasture during sunset. The reception venue was full of wooden beams and vintage details of an old southern home. Rustic wooden tables were finely decorated with white roses and greenery from a local farm, a vintage table setting, and deep blue accents.
