The Prestonwood Country Club is an iconic Cary wedding venue known for elegant wedding days and timeless events. Located inside a premiere residential community in the heart of Cary, the privately-owned and operated family-friendly country club serves over 1,800 families throughout the Triangle area with the very best all-inclusive amenities and services. And it was the absolute perfect location for Rebecca and Ray’s elegant winter wedding surrounded by rich reds and glowing gold.

Upon arrival, I was greeted with the bright warmth of the timeless brick stones covering The Prestonwood Country Club. Tucked away from the bustling streets of Cary, the tranquil country club grounds felt like a quiet retreat away from from busy life. Inside, the halls smelled of rich food that Prestonwood is famous for. I remember thinking how comforting it felt as our morning began. I met Rebecca and her bridal party as they were having fun with hair and makeup in the bridal suite. A grand piano sat in the corner as her mom sat and smiled watching her get ready from its bench. Before slipping into her dress, Rebecca being a dancer, did a few pirouettes in front of her gorgeous dress hanging in Prestonwood’s iconic hallway.
Meanwhile, located in the groomsuite down the hallway, Ray and his groomsmen hung out enjoying a slow morning. Next, engraved luxury coolers were exchanged as Ray thanked his best friends for supporting him. Afterwards, Ray spent time with his father getting ready before heading off to a first look. Ray could not stop grinning as he saw Rebecca for the first time! They enjoyed several portraits before heading off to their ceremony.
As the morning concluded, we made our way down to the beautiful ceremony space in The Grand Ballroom. Laced with rich reds, vibrant pinks, and pops of gold, Rebecca made her way down the aisle to Ray. The massive chandlers above them glowed as they were surrounded by their closest friends and family. Following the reception, final portraits were taken before heading to the reception.

Following cocktail hour, Rebecca and Ray entered their reception by massive sparklers from floor to ceiling! The massive Grand Ballroom glowed as the warm reception lighting lit up each table. Rebecca floated across the dance floor with her father during a stunning routine. Ray held his mother tight as she wept and smiled during their special song together. Guests enjoyed the dance floor, great cocktails, delectable food, a photo booth, and deserts. As the night concluded, a special horse and carriage swept Rebecca and Ray away to their honeymoon. I am beyond grateful to have been a part of their wedding day.
