Hudson Manor | A Timeless Fall Affair

Every wedding season brings its own unique charm, but there’s something truly magical about fall weddings across North Carolina. The crisp air, the rustling leaves, and the warm color palette create the perfect backdrop for capturing glowing and timeless outdoor wedding images. Located a short drive 25 minute drive outside of the heart of Raleigh sits a charming historic space steeped in rich history and full of character. As a wedding photographer in Raleigh, I had the privilege of being a part of this breathtaking fall celebration at The Hudson Manor.

Located in Louisburg, The Hudson Manor Estate is a Raleigh staple of elegance and sophistication. With over 20 years of wedding experience, The Hudson Manor is an all-inclusive wedding venue and reception venue for Raleigh couples looking for a true oasis of romance, elegance, white glove service, and a vast array of stunning outdoor wedding image opportunities. Built in 1916 but now a modern wedding venue, it offers a sophisticated haven for bridal portraits, wedding party relaxation, family celebrations, and some of the most beautiful wedding image locations across Raleigh.

On the last weekend in October, the bride and groom arrived at The Hudson Manor and had a slow afternoon. They spent time getting ready, spending time with their wedding party and family, and then shared a “first touch” before their wedding ceremony.

Deep-rooted in faith, they chose to have their wedding ceremony in the onsite chapel. Not an eye was dry in the room as they exchanged vows under the oath of God and the blessing of their families.

After the ceremony, it was time for family formals and to celebrate! A delicious five-star meal was served after the blessing was given. To surprise the guests, the ladies showcased a choreographed dance complete with glow sticks, and a VERY spicy garter removal kept everyone on their toes after dinner. The night ended with lots of dancing by the entire ballroom, and the couple shared a final sparkler exit to their getaway car. It was a spectacular and perfect fall wedding day.
