About The Highgrove Estate Wedding Venue

Highgrove Estate is a venue that specializes in a seamless wedding experience. The 7-acre property is located just 20 minutes outside of downtown Raleigh. This space has so much to offer, including carefully paved outdoor patios and picturesque courtyards. Of course, the star of the show is a 1900s house that features all the traditional Southern charm updated to give you all the necessary modern amenities for your ideal celebration!
Details of the Grounds
With Highgrove Estate, your wedding day will begin inside the manor, where both you and your partner will have separate suites where you can get ready with your party. These rooms have been designed to give you the perfect backdrop for your candid portraits before your ceremony.
Once it’s time to exchange your vows, you can use The Pergola for a grand celebration. This area is just behind the house with brick steps that will give you a grand entrance. You will stand with your partner beneath the grand wooden pergola, complete with cathedral-style beams. Two identical pergolas are located on either side, with the Carolina hills just beyond the edge. It’s chic and glamorous while still letting nature shine!
Once your ceremony is over, your guests can head over to The Side Patio for drinks as you take your portraits.
Finally, it will be time for your reception in The Grand Ballroom. This stunning area features white walls, crown molding, and brass chandeliers. A brick fireplace rests at the front of the room with a mantle ideal for your decorations. With enough space for up to 200 guests, parties of all sizes will love this area!

Highgrove Estate has been thoughtfully decorated to give you plenty of beautiful backdrops for your wedding portraits. The foyer is one of my favorite spots for individual portraits. With a grand staircase, you’ll have the best place to show off your completed look. They have also created The Special Suite inside for first look pictures as well as stylized couples’ portraits. And of course, the exterior is perfect for sunny pics with your entire party!
