A Breathtaking Mountain Top Spring Day for Haley & Douglas

Haley & Douglas’ love for one another radiated throughout every single part of the day. You’ll be able to see what I’m talking about as you scroll through these images! There was this amazing balance of tears – from the wind up in the clouds of course 😉 – and laughter that hung in the atmosphere of the day from beginning to end. It was the perfect afternoon at The Cliffs at Glassy Chapel!

I met Haley and Douglas shortly after Haley’s hair and makeup completed. With The Cliffs at Glassy Chapel being nearly 3,000 feet high, it was a no-brainer to take advantage of the stunning views around the property. We climbed up a nearby trail overlooking the stunning cliffs below for private vows before stopping for glowing portraits in the late afternoon sun. Haley’s heels presented some challenges as we climbed, but Douglas was quick to assist by carrying her up some tricky rocks haha!

As the sun began to set, we made our way back to the chapel. The warm rich tones of the stones combined with the rustic creaking of old church pews gave a familiar comfort and stillness in the day. As the sunset, Haley and Douglas shared final kisses to the evening as the bright orange and pink tones met the mountain tops around us. It was a gorgeous event that I will never forget!
