Taylor & Austin’s Green & Blue Wedding at a Classic Raleigh Venue

The Pavilion at Carriage farm is picturesque classic Raleigh staple. Blending just the right amount of southern charm with timeless Raleigh elegance, it is certainly a beautiful venue for couple’s looking for a countryside wedding day. Located just minutes south of bustling city lights, the elegant 10,000-square-foot pavilion is filled with elements of character, modern amenities, and relaxing wedding days. And it was the absolute perfect location for Taylor and Austin to tie the knot!

Taylor & Austin’s Wedding Day | The Pavilion at Carriage Farm

Upon arrival, I was greeted with a beautiful bright greenery all around us. Tucked away from the Raleigh bustling streets, vivid hydrangeas, exquisite landscaping, and quiet forestry surrounded us from all sides in our own private estate. As the summer air moved, I could smell the fragrant flower bushes lining the property as nearby birds chirped in the early morning hour. I remember thinking how peaceful it felt as our morning unfolded. I met Taylor, her adorable puppies, and her bridal party as they were having fun with hair and makeup in the bridal suite. Between puppy kisses and cuddles, everyone finished getting ready as Taylor stepped into her beautiful wedding gown for the first time. The sweet summer air slowed down as Taylor enjoyed bridal portraits before sharing a first look with Austin.

Meanwhile, located in the groomsuite two floors down, Austin and his crew enjoyed the morning hanging out and playing cornhole. They were a playful bunch that knew how to have a good time. Afterwards, Taylor & Austin shared a first look, and spent some intentional time with their sweet fur babies before the ceremony began. It was the perfect start to a stunning day.

As the morning concluded, we made our way down to the beautiful ceremony space. The aisle was wrapped in blue, green, and white summer florals – made complete with puppy paw prints at the entrance. Vibrant summer trees surrounded their closest friends and family as they exchanged vows before heading to cocktail hour and reception. It was important to both Taylor and Austin to have intentional time during the cocktail hour with their guests, as they wanted to enjoy time with friends and family. Guests enjoyed a live painter, speciality cocktails honoring their beautiful puppies, & games before dinner was served.

Taylor & Austin’s Reception | The Pavilion at Carriage Farm

Following cocktail hour, guests enjoyed a full seven course meal. The massive reception hall was glowing as the summer sun began to set. A dry eye couldn’t be found as Taylor and Austin shared their first dance underneath the glowing light. As the night concluded, guests enjoyed the dance floor and decadent desserts. It was one for the books and I am beyond grateful to be a part of their wedding day.
