Jordan and Justin’s fall wedding on the Conway Riverwalk

In the heart of the Historic District in downtown Conway, South Carolina lies the largest wedding venue for couples in downtown Conway today. Located on the Waccamaw River, previously used to store tobacco in the early 1900s, The Peanut Warehouse is the perfect backdrop for couples looking for coastal elegance mixed with rustic historical charm.

Jordan and Justin’s fall wedding on a beautiful October day began at a nearby Airbnb, where the girls were getting hair and makeup done. The girls spent time relaxing and getting pampered while Justin and his groomsmen enjoyed football nearby. Their colors of orange, yellow, red, and green provided the perfect combination of fall warmth and elegance against the changing colors on the Riverwalk and historical venue.

The Peanut Warehouse | Wedding Ceremony

As the wedding ceremony was nearing, guests filled the rich historical venue. As Justin entered, the room slowed down, signaling the apparent love each guest had for Jordan and Justin’s newly forming family. A dry eye was nowhere to be found as self-proclaimed shy guy Justin spoke about his love for Jordan and how they have grown over the last seven years of their relationship. After their wedding ceremony, we headed outside for wedding party portraits on the Riverwalk.

The Peanut Warehouse | Portraits & Reception

The Waccamaw River provided the perfect backdrop for classic coastal elegance. Spanish moss trees lined the Riverwalk and glowed in a golden light as the sun set around us. The waterway reflected the warm fall colors from the changing of the season. We also found a few “scary” guests around the corner at a nearby Halloween event that we absolutely had to take advantage of before hitting the dance floor. It was a night to remember and a joy to be a part of Jordan and Justin’s wedding day.
