Carolina Grove is an elevated private estate venue located in Hillsborough’s countryside. Surrounded by 65 acres of natural beauty, it is a perfect wedding venue for couples searching for an elevated experience near Raleigh-Durham. As a Raleigh-based wedding photographer, I had the privilege of being a part of an exclusive wedding event earlier this spring.

Carolina Grove | Venue and Wedding Details

Upon arrival, a quiet forest greets you at the entrance. The entrance opens to a private ceremony courtyard full of luscious greenery and blooming trees. As you walk around to the front of the property sits an intimate garden that can seat 60 guests compared to the courtyard of 300 guests. Furthermore, guests can enjoy a year-round temperature controlled indoor ceremony location, that also serves as the reception area. The soaring ceilings inside the indoor space are flooded with natural light creating a warm ambiance regardless of the hour. For cocktail hour, guests can enjoy the covered veranda surrounded by warmly lit grove trees for an elevated experience.

Later in the afternoon, I met up with Meghan and Trevor for portraits around the property. Watching their playful nature was a delight as the early spring sun began to set. It was a joy to watch and be a part of.
